About Women’s Impact, Inc.
OVERVIEW
Women’s Impact, Inc. grew out of the Women’s Impact Series originally offered in 2009 by the Stark County Bar Association and the United Way of Greater Stark County. Formally organized and incorporated in 2012 as a 501(c)(6) membership nonprofit, Women’s Impact, Inc. earned 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit status in 2019.
A network of professionally minded individuals, Women’s Impact, Inc. seeks ways to advance women through leadership opportunities by fostering an atmosphere that leverages their unique capabilities and perspectives.
Celebrating membership Growth
Membership has grown from the original 14 founders to more than 160 members who benefit by connecting with others of various professions, ethnicities, and ages. Through the contributions of Women’s Impact, Inc. members, local businesses and organizations gain valuable resources, individuals grow stronger personally and professionally, and our community advances as a whole.
Continuing Support and Expansion
Women’s Impact, Inc. continues to expand programming and current offerings including signature professional development events, its Dialogue member spotlight series, One-2-One Mentoring Series, Mid-Month Mingle networking events, and restorative activities including a book club and golf league.
